The Rev. Emily Badgett

The Reverend Emily Collins Badgett was born and raised in Concord, NC. She has served churches in the Episcopal Dioceses of North Carolina, Atlanta, and the Anglican Diocese of Zanzibar.  She is newly ordained, but previously served as a Hospital Chaplain and held several roles with various nonprofits both Christian and Secular, domestic and international. She has a deep passion for bringing all things arts into ministry with specific interest into the way Religious Iconography can be supportive in the Mental Health Crisis. She is a graduate of University of the South in Sewanee, TN for bachelors degree and completed her seminary education at Candler School of Theology in Atlanta. She is a life-long learner and curator of fun facts. 

Rev. Emily’s focuses will be specifically supporting our Newcomers and our Pastoral Care Team. She is always happy to grab a cup of Tea and a gluten free donut whether you are brand new, always been here, or unsure of where the front door is.
