The Rev. G. Hendree Harrison Jr.
The Reverend G. Hendree Harrison, Jr. was born and raised in Georgia and has served churches in the Episcopal Dioceses of Atlanta, East Tennessee, and Lexington. He is a co-founder of the Grace House in Athens (TN) which is a shelter and recovery program for men who are homeless for reasons related to addiction. He served as the chair of the Commission on Ministry in the Diocese of East Tennessee for a decade and is currently the president of the Standing Committee in the Diocese of Lexington. He is married to Kristin and father to Gracie and Mary. Hendree is a fifth generation Episcopal priest. He did both his undergraduate and seminary studies at Sewanee: the University of the South, and he also completed the Living School program at the Center for Action and Contemplation. He is a devoted explorer of the contemplative dimension of the Gospel, a Centering Prayer practitioner, and an all around joyful guy.
