Good Shepherd Vestry
Good Shepherd Vestry members are an elected group of parishioners who, with the Rector, guide and direct the church. Members serve three-year terms and act as the governing board for the administrative functioning of the church.
The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.

Each year, the vestry sets goals for the church and each vestry member chooses an area of focus that they are responsible for. CLICK HERE to see this year's goals.

Each year Good Shepherd’s Vestry engages in a spiritual study. We begin each Vestry meeting with 15-20 minutes of conversation about a spiritual topic in order to further develop as spiritual leaders.

In the fall of 2024, the Nominating Committee and prospective members will engage in a discernment process designed to help the church and the nominees discover if God is calling them to serve on the Vestry at this time, or not at all, or at some time in the future.
