Chapter 10

1. The soul thinks that God has abandoned her. She struggles in vain to practice the tricks that used to work.

2. “In truth the soul has been basking in quietude  and spaciousness free from the manipulations of her faculties.” she’s just unaware of it

3. The soul must content herself with loving attentiveness toward God with no felt reciprocation.

4. Contemplation is nothing other than a secret, peaceful, loving inflow of God.”
