  1. 6th step - Now almost purified the soul runs toward God

  2. 7th step - the soul becomes bold and shameless in her approach to God. She must be humble lest she tumble back down the ladder

  3. 8th step - the soul holds onto the beloved.

  4. 9th step - the perfected soul burns gently and indescribably in love of God

  5. 10th step - final step: upon death the soul is swept up into God irrevocably. This is the step of clear vision.
